This recipe was given to me from a co-worker 15 or so years ago. It was her mother’s and it it simply the best! You know those recipes that are handed down from generation to generation are always fabulous. Well, this is one of those recipes. “Lip Smackin Good!” Here is what you will need…

The Best and easiest homemade peach cobbler recipe ever! So simple to make and so good! #peaches #peachrecipe #cobbler

Ingredients:

2 cups peeled, sliced, fresh peaches {I use the very ripe ones, a little squishy!}
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 stick melted butter

Pour melted butter into a 9×9 baking dish. Mix flour, 1/3 cup sugar, baking powder and milk together. Pour mixture over melted butter. mix remaining sugar with the peaches. Pour the peaches on top of the batter in the dish. DO NOT STIR!!

Bake @ 350 degrees for 45-60 { usually 50 minutes will do it } minutes !

Seriously, the batter cooks around the peaches and this is just heavenly! Serve it up hot with some good old fashioned vanilla ice cream and call it a day! 

The Best and Easiest Peach Cobbler Recipe Ever

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 50 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour, 5 minutes

Yield: 6 servings

    I found this recipe years ago and lost track of it. I have looked high and low for this particular one. Thank you!!! This is the best and easiest cobbler I’ve tried. I’ve also substituted my fruits as well. Turns out great.
