Summer Porch Tablescape and a Summer Tablescape Link Party

Summer is here!

And all the children yell “YEA! “

Around these parts, summer means dinners outside in the warmth and hopefully, light breezes. My family loves eating outside on our porch on these lazy evenings of summer…

We truly use our porch as an extension of our home. I love setting a simple place setting outside to create an inviting atmosphere. { we even light candles and the kids think it is really cool, but it actually helps keep the bugs away, we just won’t tell them. }

I created these painted, monogrammed plates a few years ago and love them . You can check out the full tutorial on creating your own in our Mother’s Day Monogrammed Plates post …

Creating a beautiful tablescape, even if it is just for your family, creates wonderful family time and invited everyone to linger a little longer at the dinner table. For us, that is priceless time with a teen and pre-teen. A lot can be learned around a dinner table!

But enough about our family and summer tablescape. We are thrilled to have teamed up with Melissa from the Happier Homemaker and …… to host a Summer Inspiration Link Party featuring Tablescapes

We would love for YOU to share your Summer Tablescape with us…
