Are you ready for Christmas? We are getting the final touches done on our own homes and then it will all be about family time! Today I am going to show you how to make this simple Snowman Ornament…
This little craft is not only simple, but super quick as well. This would be a perfect idea for a group or to do with your kids after school gets out for Christmas break!! Let’s get started…
Supplies Needed for snowman ornament craft…
- (1) 3 inch Grapevine Wreath
- (1) 2 inch Grapevine Wreath
- Mini Knit Hat and Scarf set
- 16 Gauge Copper Craft Wire
- Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Optional: Mini Brooms
Directions:
Start by cutting a small piece of copper craft wire and pushing it through the larger wreath and then through the smaller wreath.
Twist the wire together at the back of the wreaths, securing the two wreaths together. Snip the ends of the wire off close to the wreaths.
Create a hanging hook by simply cutting another piece of copper craft wire. Use a pair of pliers to curl the wire into a hook shape on one end. Puch the other end through the top of the smaller wreath and twist the wire around itself to secure in place.
Finally, tie the little scarf around the middle of the snowman where the two wreaths meet. Fold the little hat over on itself and attach the pom pom to the bottom of the hat with your glue gun. Attach the hat to the top of the wreath with the glue gun and your little, simple snowman Christmas ornament is complete!
We just love the simplicity of this little guy!
