I am a total snacker at parties and dips are what I go to first. I created this dip when I was looking to serve something at a party that was a little different and incorporated some fresh fruits and vegetables.

What You’ll Need:

1 container garlic and herb Alouette cheese
1/4 cup sour cream
8 oz red pepper hummus
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup chopped seedless cucumber
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup chopped basil
1/4 cup chopped oregano

Let’s Make It:

1) In a small bowl, combine the Alouette and sour cream. Stir well until fully combined. Spread in the bottom of the serving bowl.

2) Spread red pepper hummus {or your favorite flavor if you aren’t a fan of the red pepper variety} over top of the cheese layer.

3) In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, onion, cucumber, oregano and 3 Tbsp basil. Stir to combine. Add on top of the hummus layer and top with remaining chopped basil. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I have to tell you that this dip totally disappeared at the party! I served it with crackers and some fresh vegetables and people kept coming back for me. It is such a great combination of flavors and it a little lighter tasting than a lot of party dips.
