Yesterday I showed you our fun Tailgating Ideas and today I am going to show you how to create this adorable faux leather DIY Tailgating Football Banner…
Supplies Needed for…
DIY Tailgating Football Banner:
Scissors
Jute Twine
Faux Leather Brown Vinyl
Strips of White Leather
Football Template
Glue Gun
E6000 Glue
Trace the football template onto the back of the vinyl. Cut each one out individually. I used a total of 7.
Use the E6000 glue to adhere the strips of white leather to the ends of each football. I curved them in just slightly. I found the white leather strips at Hobby Lobby.
Finally, use your glue gun to attach each football to the jute twine. TIP: make sure you attach them on the top 1/3 of the football or they will not hang correctly!
DIY Tailgating Football Banner…

These tips are just the kind of thing I’ve been looking for. I’m having a massive football party this weekend for my friends and coworkers from DISH. I love the decorations; too, my wife will have a blast with these! I also have my Hopper hooked up, and moved all four of my TVs into our giant living room so we can have three games going live.
