Appliqued Drum Set Onesie

I Want To Rock ‘n Roll All Night…

So, what do you make for the drum teacher when his wife has their first daughter….

Why an appliqued drum onesie of course!

Is this not the cutest thing eva!!?? I just love how it turned out!

I simply found a drum set silhouette image online and re sized it to fit the onesie. I then made a couple of copies and cut out each piece of the drum set. Next, I dug through my fabric scraps and had all these yummy colored fabrics!  I used Heat ‘n’ Bond to attach the fabric to the onesie and then stitched around each piece with matching thread colors!!

If you need a basic applique’ tutorial…Little Birdie Secrets has a great one!

‘Cause every good southern girl needs a “Lilly” looking drum set!!

Hopefully, she will appreciate the sounds of her daddy playing drums and “rock ‘n roll” all night!
Make sure to come back later this week, when I show you how…”To Party Everyday!”
