Hey y’all! Hope you are doing good! We are preparing for our neighborhood Halloween party and will be sharing our Halloween party table centerpieces today. You are going to love how easy these ghost balloons are to make and they are so adorable and so fun… they even glow!!
This year I was determined to keep things simple, but I knew I needed a really fun idea that the kids would love. Since it will be at night, I decided that it should definitely glow… in came the balloons! Here is how you can make this simple glowing ghost balloon craft…
The supplies are so easy to find!
- white balloons
- balloon sticks
- glow stick
- sharpie marker or vinyl for the facial features
Step One. Go ahead and break your glow sticks to make them glow. The package says they should last 4-8 hours, so keep that in mind when you are putting them together for the party or Halloween night. You want to bend them in half and insert them into the balloon.
Step Two. Blow your balloon up to the desired size. The larger you make the balloon, the better it will glow. Tie it off and place it on the balloon stick. Easy stuff!
Step Three. It is time to add the pretty face to the ghost! I cut some ovals out of black vinyl, but you can simply draw them on with a sharpie. Whatever you have available will work.
Step Four. Tie a pretty ribbon. You don’t have to do this step, but I think it sets this apart from just sticking a glow stick in and calling it a day. Do whatever you like!
Aren’t they just so stinkin’ cute? To complete the centerpiece, I put them into one of my Halloween Hurricanes and added some sparkly orange shreds. I love how they turned out and I can’t wait until the kids see them do this after the sun goes down…
Are you planning a Halloween party? I’d love to hear about it!
