Give Thanks Always { Fall Apothecary Jars}

"give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus"  1 Thessalonians 5:18

I don't know about you, but this is not always easy for me, so during this fall season I felt I needed a constant reminder of the need to give thanks always...

This seasonal version of my apothecary jars really sets the mood for my home! Here is how you can set the mood in your own home...

If you missed yesterday's post, you can see it here to see how these apothecary jars were made! For the fall, I painted mine a simple antique white. I filled them with wonderful smelling dark brown coffee beans. I also painted wooden tags {I found them at Michaels} with black chalkboard paint.

Yes...those are toilet paper rolls filled with paper towels!! Coffee has skyrocketed in price and I needed a filler! You can use just about anything you have around your home...soup cans, jars, etc.

Here they are all filled up with coffee beans, ready to be made into something beautiful!!

  I added adorable burlap bows and glittered acorn bells. I also tied the chalkboard tags onto the finials with a little jute twine.

I just love burlap...

Finally, I used simple school chalk to write my reminder...
"Give Thanks Always"

Is it just me, or do others have a difficult time Giving Thanks in all circumstances?
